Our way of honouring Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, the face of 'Valour'. One of the most prominent and successful British commanders of the Second World War. Known as 'Monty', he was notably Colonel Commandant of the Parachute Regiment and served in both world wars. Monty died at his home in 1976 at the age of 88.
